What this page is for

Questions about the review itself: something that is unclear, a claim you have seen and want to know how it is graded, a source you think should be reflected, or a correction you would like to suggest. These are welcome, and corrections are made to the page rather than noted elsewhere.

What this site does not do

This review does not recommend for or against any product or treatment, and it does not offer an assessment or a consultation in relation to anything it describes. It is not a booking page. There is no service offered here for any product, device or course of treatment, and nothing on this site should be read as an invitation to arrange one.

Questions about your own skin

A question about your own situation — whether a patch of pigment needs assessing, whether a topical suits your skin, whether a finding needs treating at all — is a clinical question and belongs with a clinician who can examine you and see your history. The hospital’s outpatient channels are the right route for that, and the appointments page explains how they work.

If you have a change you are worried about

A mole or patch that is changing in size, shape or colour, a lesion that bleeds or will not heal, or a new and persistent skin change is assessed by a clinician rather than discussed on a website. Contact the service that has your records, or the hospital’s outpatient channels, rather than relying on a page about longevity.
